Samsung Galaxy S5 to Launch in Mid of March

You cannot stop the rumor mill from leaking information about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 until the Korean OEM officially unveils it.

Recently, a new rumor surfaced suggesting that Samsung Galaxy S5 will hit the retail shelves in mid-March. The folks at GSMArena managed to get in touch with a Samsung executive who confirmed the flagship device will hit the shelves in three weeks.

Samsung is expected to take the wraps off of its next flagship device, the Galaxy S5, at the Unpacked 5 press event in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2014. So, three weeks after the launch is almost around mid-March, which is the time when consumers can their hands on the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy S5, hopefully.

Let’s just do a quick recap (again..) of what the handset could bring at the table. Based on rumors, it could come with a 5.2-inch display sporting a QHD/FHD resolution, a Snapdragon 805/Exynos 6 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 16MP camera, fingerprint sensor and should come with Android 4.4 KitKat with a revamped TouchWiz UI, as well as a bunch of redesigned Samsung-related apps.

Are you excited? Samsung Unpacked 5 event will kick off in less than three days so hold on tight to your seats and wait for Samsung to unveil the handset.
